Driving to work I saw two interesting things:
1. Cute elderly couple crossing the street. The old man was holding an umbrella for them both and they were both wearing Sketchers Shape-ups.

That lane with the solid white line and the diamond symbol? Yeah that’s the carpool lane. Carpool means there has to be 2+ (sometimes 3+) people in the car. I don’t care if you don’t want to wait for the green light to get on the freeway. You think your time is more valuable than anyone else’s? Morning:
-Traffic was awesome this morning. No complaints. I saw a woman wearing a long skirt and riding her bike with a basket on it and the music played in my head when Ms. Gulch from the “Wizard of Oz” is on her bike. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4kiXh8YOzk -I was going 25 mph (5 over the speed limit!) on campus and drove past a police car, but I didn’t get pulled over....
